This summer, Barbican Art Gallery presents the first major UK exhibition devoted to the Bauhaus in over 40 years.
This summer the Barbican Art Gallery will play host to the most extensive Bauhaus exhibition the UK has seen in 40 years. As well as featuring works from the critically acclaimed artists who passed through this world famous art school -such as Marcel Breuer, Wassily Kadinsky and Hannes Meyer- the exhibition will also display pieces from lesser-known artist masters and Bauhaus students. This mixture will make for a hugely varied showcase including painting, sculpture, design, architecture, film, photography, textiles, ceramics, theatre and installation, as well as a public programme featuring an array of workshops and talks.
