The triannual Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair returns this autumn to Battersea Park, ready for antique and decorative arts enthusiasts to explore.
Located in the heart of Battersea Park in Central London, the Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair is the place to be if you are looking for original 20th century design and work of art from all periods to present day.
Both English and European pieces are represented, with over 140 exhibitors offering fine quality across a range of price points. Established over 25 years, the fair has a worldwide reputation and international trade and retail buyers, interior designers and private buyers visit every edition. Discover Gustavian and Swedish design, 20th century design, lighting, accessories, named-design furniture and excellent mirrors.
The Foyer display at this Autumn Fair reveals how the 1951 Festival of Britain influenced furnishing, design and art in the following decade. It features furniture and accessories drawn from C20th dealers at the Fair, shown alongside period photographs, textiles and works of art. Expect to see original textiles by Lucienne Day, Jacqueline & Jack Goag, Barbara Brown
wallpaper designed by artist Graham Sutherland, early furniture designs by Terence Conran, original 1950s advertising posters, art prints by Graham Sutherland and the Ernest Race BA3 Chair.
In an extremely convenient location, just a short walk from Sloane Square and Knightsbridge tube, this fashionable fair is a must see.
