An exhibition showcasing the recent design innovations of Zaha Hadid, the first female to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
Zaha Hadid is a British architect with original and innovative design ideas. These will be exhibited through her recent creations of jewelry, furniture, decorative art and footwear in Form in Motion from 17th September, 2011 to 25th March, 2012 at the Exhibition Gallery, Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Hadid will be presented the 2011 Design Excellence Award by Collab, the professionals who support the Museum’s modern and contemporary design collection, on 19th November. This award appreciates the continuity of Hadid’s work and the way in which it constantly alters the way we look at interiors. The exhibition showcases everything from shoes to cars, representing the unique and creative variations within design. From Swarovski crystal-embellished jewelry to a three-wheeled Z-car I, there’s something for everyone.
