1. Could these striking vintage chairs be more desirable? They are a museum-quality pair of 1950s black LCM chairs designed by Charles Eames and produced by Herman Miller, Swoon! £3000 for the pair.
2. I don’t often include children’s furniture on my Wish List, but as a new uncle I’m making an exception for this stylish and functional high chair. Made from polished teak and designed by celebrated Danish designer Nanna Ditzel, it’s the perfect way to ease the child in your life into a chic modernist lifestyle, £1450.00
3. Produced by private commission for the headquarters of Deutsche Bahn (the German National Railway Company) in 1962, it’s hard to resist coveting this other Eames design. The extremely rare oak desk features a green leather top on a metal base and is one of only one hundred made, £5700.
4. Store and display your wine elegantly in these late 1960s, leather and metal wine racks by Arthur Umanoff, £1795 for the pair. (Larger wine rack dimensions: 79.5cm H, 35.5cm W, 28cm D, Smaller wine rack dimensions: Height 49cm, Width 35.5cm, Depth 25.5cm)
5. Swedish modernist Greta Grossman, known for her ceramics, textiles and furniture is having a moment. Those in the know will be lusting after this 1940s G-33 Grasshopper lamp for Swedese, £6000.
6. Storage solutions don’t come any more cheerful than George Nelson’s 1950s steel frame cabinet with sliding doors in petrol blue, green and grey painted wood, £1795.
7. Designed by ‘America’s decorator’ Paul McCobb, this set of dashing 1950s solid walnut bowtie dining chairs for Calvin Dining have been fully restored maintaining the original patina and re-upholstered in Kvadrat’s Bass 3 fabric, £5950 for four side and two arm chairs.
8. Italian design manufacturer Stilnovo was active during the 1950s and 1960s producing a wide range of wall and standing lamps. This elegant chandelier with eight opaline shades on black and brass frame is the finishing touch your dining room needs £2495 (Shade dimensions: Height 24cm, Diameter 7.5cm)
