This is a classic 1950s Italian Chiavari chair which was the inspiration for the famous Leggera designed by Gio Ponti in 1952. With its simple curved frame and delicate detailing, this Chiavari chair is an elegant piece of functional design, an ideal seating option for special occasions.

This version is made in mahony wood with original wickered seating - also available in solid brass with original velvet upholstery.

The Chiavari chair is named after the coastal town in Italy where the design originated in 1807.
