£1,300.00 (approx. $2,071.87)

Beautiful vintage 1950s travel poster promoting Davos in Switzerland.

Lithograph in colours printed in 1956 by Basler Druck in Basle, advertising travel to the Swiss resort of Davos. A rare and highly colourful promotional poster for the premier resort of Davos offered in immaculate original condition. Scarce.

The artist Otto Glaser has created a beautiful and dramatic summer landscape showing two people enjoying a lush and secluded area of the mountainous resort. The boat shown in the foreground, dense forest and clear hills in the background shows the variety of terrain in this popular tourist destination of Switzerland.

In A- very good condition - there may be some slight blemish, fold, small tear or other minor restoration to the poster but any marks are unobtrusive.
