Eyecatching vintage 1950s original travel poster promoting Davos in Switzerland.
Lithograph in colours printed in circa 1955 by Basler Druck in Basel.
The artist Otto Glaser has created a charming image of the popular tourist resort of Davos using warm and striking colours that make the landscape appear bathed in sunlight. The prominent woodpecker shown in the foreground and goats on the hill create a serene natural image, where the abstract dense forest opens out on to the charming resort below.
In A- very good condition - there may be some slight blemish, fold, small tear or other minor restoration to the poster but any marks are unobtrusive.
