Architect Gio Ponti founded Fontana Arte in 1932 as an artistic division of the company Luigi Fontana, and made the most exquisite objects in crystal and glass. Their name became synonymous with taste and quality throughout the world. Fontana Arte worked with important designers such as Gio Ponti, Pietro Chiesa and Max Ingrand.
This table design is featured in an interior published in 'CASA VOGUE', March 1987, pg 133 and is documented as Fontana Arte from the 1950s.
