Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
A fantastic vintage rosewood rectangle extending dining table by Kaj Winding, dating from the late 1950s. A one piece main frame with angular legs and clean minimal lines. The extensions are stored under the table with a neat sliding mechanism. When needed poles extend from each end to hold the leaves which have a contrasting grain.
The table, which sits 6-8 comfortably, is in fantastic condition having been re-polished.
Due to the over-logging of certain species of trees, rosewood has become increasingly rare and hard to find. Danish designed rosewood pieces, such as this extending dining table by Kaj Winding, are particularly popular for their simple yet elegant design, rich colour, high quality and timeless beauty.
