Spectacular vintage 1950s 'Schulz-Tarasp-Vulpera' original travel poster promoting the Engadin valley in Switzerland.
Lithograph in colours printed in circa 1958 by Gebr. Fretz AG, Zurich. Preservation linen-backed.
The artist Peikert created a dramatic scene for the Swiss travel poster, depicting the imposing mountainous range of the Engadin valley with a stunning sunset and gushing waterfall. The buildings in the foreground of the image, highlighted in the colours of the sun, provide a serene contrast to the intensity and movement of the poster.
In A- very good condition - there may be some slight blemish, fold, small tear or other minor restoration to the poster but any marks are unobtrusive.
