1950s R. Glatzel for Fristho Teak Bed

A vintage 1950s teak bed with a modernist look. The bed is designed by R. Glatzel for one of the finest cabinet makers in Holland - Fristho produced high end quality furniture that was sold all over Europe.

This bed is a rare and hard to find piece. With small drop cupboard on one side of the bed and drawers on the other side.

Suitable for a 120cm x 190cm mattress. Ideal as a guest bed.

As famed as each other, Rudolf Glatzel and Fristho Franeker produced several pieces together in other woods such as rosewood, as well as varied items of furniture, all in beautifully finished wood, each as lovely as the next.
