Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
This is a rare, original British 'lobby card' for 'The Ladykillers' (1955), starring Alec Guinness as 'Professor Marcus', Peter Sellers as 'Harry (a.k.a. Mr. Robinson)', and Herbert Lom who plays 'Louis (a.k.a. Mr. Harvey)'.
Lobby Cards were originally hung in the lobbies of cinemas to advertise upcoming films.
The artwork for this lobby card is by renowned artist Carlantonio Longi.
'The Ladykillers' was one of the most popular titles produced by London's Ealing Studios. Such titles are very collectable because of the popularity of the films and the studio in general, which produced some of Britain's best films.
