Beautiful vintage 1960s 'Alpes Français' travel poster promoting rail travel to the French Alps.

Lithograph in colours printed in 1960 by and for the S.N.C.F. rail company. Preservation linen backed.

The poster artist Fontanarosa has depicted a peaceful alpine scene. The use of proportion and the two small figures create a sense of perspective and the magnitude of the trees and mountains behind them.

In A- very good condition - there may be some slight blemish, fold, small tear or other minor restoration to the poster but any marks are unobtrusive.
