Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
A fantastic vintage 1960s large rosewood cabinet by H.W. Klein for Bramin. Designed in 1965 as part of the Pamir series.
This cabinet is stunning with fantastic quality rosewood throughout and subtle oak lining within. There is a large cupboard in the upper part and six drawers below. The legs are elegant and insect-like, contrasting wonderfully with the strong body. Steel handles give a great contrast to the rich red of the rosewood.
Condition is fantastic having been re-polished.
H.W. Klein had a great passion for language and mathematics, and developed considerably talents in engineering and interiors in the late 1940s. Danish manufacturers Bramin showed support for his designs and innovative production methods in the 1950s, and he subsequently enjoyed an illustrious career with them for many years.
