Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
Amazing vintage 1960s large tambour door sideboard by H.W. Klein for Bramin. Designed in 1965 as part of the 'Pamir' series.
This sideboard is stunning with fantastic rosewood throughout and subtle oak lining within. The quality is second to none from top to bottom. The elegant legs support the vast body which sits proud and confident. Steel handles give a great contrast to the rich red of the rosewood. Even the detail to the drawers is amazing - they slightly overlap the tambour door helping to conceal the slide.
Condition is fantastic having been re-polished.
H.W. Klein had a great passion for language and mathematics, and developed considerably talents in engineering and interiors in the late 1940s. Danish manufacturers Bramin showed support for his designs and innovative production methods in the 1950s, and he subsequently enjoyed an illustrious career with them for many years.
