Beautiful vintage 1960s black cotton-blend chiffon dress.

Featuring chevron pleating on the bodice and a pleated skirt, the dress zips down centre back and has belt loops at waist. The belt has a covered buckle and stitched eyelets. In generally good vintage condition, with minute white age spots on dress that are unseen when worn.

The 1960s was the decade when fashion really started to become daring - with Mary Quant's introduction of the mini-skirt, there was a sense of revolution that came with the new looks of the 60s. This sheer black dress is reminiscent of Brigette Bardot's 1968 look of transparent top which she accessorized with a feather boa.
