The fabric is cut in a V front and back, overlapping from the left to right and meeting in a pretty bow of yellow ribbon at the back, covering the zip fastening.
In Context
The House of Worth has roots dating back to the mid-19th century, when Charles Worth acted as the couturier to various European courts including that of the French Empress Eugenie. Charles Worth is hailed as the first ever fashion designer in the nineteenth century. He invented the crinoline and also set the path for fashion promotion by sewing his name into the label and having his items spotted on the rich and famous. In the 1950s the House of Worth was closed, and the Worth name was bought by Sydney Massin to found Worth London Ltd.
