The Omega story began in 1848 at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, when its founder Louis Brandt at the age of 23 opened a comptoir d'etablissage, a sub-contracting sales office for watch manufacture. Over 160 years on, the Omega company holds the the most records for time-keeping. The Dynamic was a hugely popular model in the 1970s, pushing the boundaries of functionality and design.
