1983 Graham's Port has bold tannins and a long fruity finish.
The luscious, concentrated, powerful but balanced style of Graham's ports has always been defined by the grapes from Quinta dos Malvedos, one of the Douro's greatest vineyard properties, located in the heart of the region, near Tua.
Graham's 1983 vintage is a "fine deep ruby colour, with a rich and intense nose of ripe red fruits, combined with concentrated floral aromas of violets and minty eucalyptus. On the palate the port shows a full-bodied structure, bold tannins, and a long and intense fruit finish." - Peter Symington, SFE, 2006
"Lovely deep nose. Violet, floral. Fresh, dry finish, Excellent length and body. Very good, left for further ageing. Score: Decanter Awards 2006 Port Trophy and Gold Medal" - Decanter Magazine, 2006
