This is an original release British 'Quad' poster for James Bond film, 'A View To A Kill' (1985).
As with all posters from this period, the piece was originally folded, but has since been conservation linen-backed, a process which flattens out the folds and removes acid from the paper, thus preserving it over time.
In Context
'A View to a Kill' is the fourteenth movie from the James Bond series and the last out of seven to star Sir Roger Moore as the famous MI6 agent. In this movie he fights the evil Max Zorin (Christopher Walken). Tanya Roberts is Stacey Sutton - Bond's love interest and accomplice.
'Quad' is the standard size for British posters. These were displayed outside of cinemas across the UK during the film's original release in 1985.
The poster was designed by Daniel J. GoozeƩ, who worked on many Bond poster campaigns. It has that quintessential 007 aesthetic, with Grace Jones paired with Roger Moore to introduce Bond's newest enemy.
