Vintage Seekers says
It has been argued that the 'El Primero' movement was the peak of technical achievement for Zenith. Striving for balance and versatility, 'El Primero' was first released in 1969, one of the first automatic chronograph movements with integrated automatic winding, and the fastest chronograph in existence, with a frequency of 36,000 alternations per hour, making it the most precise in the world. Furthermore, it is also the only mechanical chronograph that can measure short time intervals to 1/10 of a second.
