Original vintage car racing poster by Beligond for the legendary and most famous endurance race in the world, the 24 Heures du Mans, on 10th and 11th June 1961. In excellent condition.

A spectator's ground-level view of the back of a speeding car serves to demonstrate speed in this 1961 poster for this legendary race.
The post-war 1950s heralded a renewed interest in the race from major motor companies. By the 1960s, new safety measures had to be implemented as vehicles were now being manufactured to reach speeds of 200mph. With the bright car set against a muted scenery and cheering crowd, this poster advertises the spectacle by hinting at the sense of intense speed and risky element of motor racing.
