Vintage Seekers says

This was a recruitment poster published by London Transport which promoted the job of bus drivers as a valuable public service. The illustration, by Leo P Dowd, shows a driver climbing into his LT-type bus cab. Leo P Dowd was a book illustrator and poster designer, whose illustrations were included in the Country Adventures books from 1945 to 1950.
