Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
An exceptionally good trunk, made by Finnigans of Bond Street around 1910. This trunk is absolutely stunning with lovely brass studs and hardware, vellum edging strips and an immaculate original interior with lift out tray.
Finnigans were one of, if not the best luggage manufacturer in England, and their trunks are much sought after. A wonderful piece.
Custom-made luggage and vanity cases became popular following the increase in travel amongst the affluent classes during the post-war 1920s. Beautifully crafted and stunning aesthetic pieces with extraordinary attention to detail, vintage luggage can make a statement storage solution within a room if too heavy for today's modern travel. These pieces evoke the glamour of the golden age of travel during the early 20th Century.
