Phil Collins is an English musician best known for being the drummer and vocalist in the band Genesis, and for his work as a solo artist.

Collins first began his musical career drumming for the band Flaming Youth when he was just 18 years old. He joined Genesis in 1970, originally as the drummer, who also provided backing vocals to then lead singer, Peter Gabriel. Collins became the lead vocalist of the band when Gabriel left to pursue his solo career.

Collins' had his first solo number 1 single in 1984 with his hit ballad Against All Odds.

This is an A4 sheet of handwritten lyrics to Another Day in Paradise by Phil Collins dated 25/7/96.

Another Day in Paradise was Collins' first single from his 1989 album But Seriously. Addressing the problem of homelessness, the song reached number 1 in charts around the world and in 1991 it won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

Collins has signed his name in the top right corner of the sheet.

The sheet of lyrics is framed with a photograph of Phil Collins to a total size of 22.5" x 18.5".

Handwritten lyrics are extremely popular with collectors and this is reflected in the prices they often fetch at auction. In 2010, Bob Dylan's handwritten lyrics to The Times They Are A-Changin sold for $422,500 the same year that the handwritten lyrics to The Beatles' A Day In The Life sold for $1.2 million.

A rare opportunity to own handwritten lyrics to one of Phil Collins' most popular hits.
