Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
The Sideboard Credenza in rosewood is a flawless minimal design by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Faarup Mobelfabrik. The Danish designer was passionate and incredibly active in furniture design throughout his career, however, his remarkable talent in creating classic sculptural pieces went under-recognised. Now in contemporary design discourse, the intriguingly modern appeal of Kofod-Larsen's mid-century works are celebrated.
His 1950s Credenza design is clean, smooth and structured with a simplistic exterior. The inside reveals a variety of attractive elements including multiple, beautifully lined drawers in a deep forrest green, an elegant glassy panel, and a light which further opens up the inside space.
The body and interior elements can be appreciated in its original, excellently maintained condition.
