Incredible vintage 1980s Yohji Yamamoto Chocolate Brown Wool Suit. Jacket has amazing pleating down the one side of the jacket. Buttons down the front and is fully lined. Skirt has two tiers of amazing pleating and is fully lined. This suit is truly a masterpiece of Yamamoto's early work.
Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto made his debut in Paris in 1981, creating pieces that were avant garde with no interest in following current trends. His designs often feature draping in different textures, as can be seen in this 1980s skirt suit.
