Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
Vintage 1961 International Watch Company Ingenieur 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch.
This immaculate 1961 IWC watch is complete with its original box and sales warranty. The warranty confirms the case/movement numbers and has been endorsed by the retailer 'Ollivant & Botsford' on 24th October 1961.
The dial is almost perfect and the case is clean and free from damage. The watch is on an IWC crocodile strap with an 18ct yellow gold IWC buckle.
The International Watch Company launched the Ingenieur range in 1955, one of the first watches with bi-directional automatic movements.
Today, they are highly desirable collector's pieces of rare, elegant and timeless classic design with technically advanced movement. This piece in particular is somewhat of a holy grail for watch collectors, being complete and in such well-preserved condition.
