Original John F. Kennedy campaign signed by the then-elected president JFK.

This is a fantastic piece of political memorabilia from the 1960 US race to the White House: a circular printed cardstock campaign sign for JFK's 1960 presidential campaign, issued by the Wisconsin Volunteers for Kennedy, 8" in diameter with hanging hole and string, signed in blue ballpoint.

With a few small, unobtrusive bends and surface marks, otherwise the item is in fine, clean condition for its age. Professionally mounted, framed and glazed in UV glass.

The United States presidential election of 1960 was the 44th American presidential election in which John F Kennedy won over Richard Nixon mainly thanks to his large, well-founded presidential campaign organisation to win the nomination, secure endorsements, and with the aid of the last of the big-city bosses to get out the vote in the big cities while Nixon was campaigning in 50 states instead of concentrating on the swing states.

The president was assassinated in 1963 while still in office, making it one of the most high-profile killings in history, which remains unsolved to this day.
