Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
Minimalist beauty with a lively flair best describes this enamel fire red and flat black salad set from the 1953 Krenit rage. The pieces are the popular works of Danish designer, Herbert Krenchel, who won the top award for the design the following year. Krenchel designed a timeless item, that would blend in expertly in any decade, possessing both functionality and style.
The set has been maintained in excellent condition since its production sixty years ago; the red enamel inside still gleams and the black eternit ( fibre cement) outside coating is unfaded. The set consists of a large bowl which is approximately 25 cm wide and 11.5 cm high, accompanied by small ones which are 12 cm wide and 4.5 cm high.
