McClelland Barclay sterling pear motif necklace, bracelet and earrings set, 15-1/2" by 3/4" necklace (39.4 by 1.9 necklace), 6-3/4" by 3/4" ( 17.1 by 1.9 cm) bracelet and 7/8" (2.2 cm) earrings, 6-3/4" by 3/4" (17.1 by 1.9 cm) bracelet and 7/8" (2.2 cm) earrings.

McClelland Barclay was both an illustrator and a designer. Born in 1891, he painted and made sculptural utilitarian pieces and decorative objects for the home, as well as wonderful jewellery. His design sense was magnificent, and his rhinestone jewellery is well known and collected. He also produced Arts and Crafts style sterling jewellery pieces. Sadly, he died in World War II. Most of his sterling jewellery was made in 1942 and 1943.
