A set of three vintage 1970s white Murano glass lamps. The set consists of one large and two smaller lamps that look great as a set or dotted around a room. When illuminated, the Murano glass gives a glowing effect, adding an ambient touch to any room. These vintage lamps are in excellent condition.

The lamps take standard screw-end light bulbs.

In Context

Murano in Italy came into prominence as a centre for glassmaking in 1291 when Venetian glassmakers moved their foundries to the nearby island. In the 1960s the Murano glass trade experienced a second decade of rapid development, selling to the increasing number of tourists visiting Venice. It is famed for its quality and skilful manufacturing methods.
