Vintage 1971 Omega Seamaster Day-Date gentleman's wrist watch.
This is an original Omega Seamaster 'Day-Date'. This watch is made from 9ct gold, and was manufactured in 1971 (hallmark checked with the Assay Office).
The watch has just been serviced, including a case/bracelet polish and a new unbreakable crystal. The integral bracelet is at a good length.
The first Seamaster was launched in 1948 and throughout the 1950s and 1960s was styled as a classic dress watch. In the 1980s, the Seamaster was relaunched as a diver's watch and remodelled in titanium. The Omega Seamaster is nowadays famous as James Bond's watch of choice, with various models being worn since 1995.
