1960s Poliarte Pair of Pendant Lamps

Pair of exquisite vintage 1960s pendant lamps by Italian manufacturer Poliarte. Produced is Verona, Italy. Heavy custom made steel metal frame and chain with colourful glass finish.

These pendant lamps are very hard to find in this condition - a real masterpiece of mid-century design.

Italian glassware mostly comes from the island Murano in Venice and is famed for its quality and skillful manufacture, using techniques that were originally developed in the 13th century. The "Golden Age" of Italian glassmaking was from the 1920s to the 1970s.
