1954 Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip vintage autographed photograph. This charming photograph, measuring 7½" x 10", shows the royal couple and their children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, posed comfortably on a small garden wall. The image shows some signs of age wear, particularly to the mount, with a small tear to the base of the image, corner creasing and light overall toning slightly affecting the signatures.

Queen Elizabeth's autograph, "Elizabeth R", and that of Prince Philip, "Philip", are expressively signed on the lower portion of the photographer's mount. The Queen has dated the signatures "1954".

For more than 50 years, Elizabeth II (1926-) has acted as head of the Commonwealth and Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She has maintained her politically neutral stance throughout her reign and is a respected head of state.

Elizabeth married Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, in 1947. He is the oldest serving spouse of a reigning monarch and Britain's longest-serving consort. In 2007 the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate sixty years of marriage, marking their Diamond Anniversary.
