This highly symbolic 48 star American flag was adopted in 1912 when Arizona and New Mexico became recognised states to the Union. The thirteen stripes on the flag represent the thirteen original colonies of America. The design of this flag lasted until 1959 when the state of Alaska was added. The flag is very rare and measures at 12ft by 8f. It comes in a box that reads, "United States - yesterday, today, tomorrow". A piece of history, this is a top quality item suitable for wall hanging or ceremonial purposes.
