Curating a Heritage Lifestyle
Beautiful vintage 1960s necklace and earring set by Marian Haskell, constructed from hand-crafted art-glass. Each segment is individually embellished with a free hand metallic enamel gold/copper print. Earrings are filigree based, made from stamped brass. All three pieces are stamped 'Miriam Haskell'. Quality dress jewellery doesn't really get any better than this.
Miriam Haskell began creating nature-inspired costume jewellery of exceptional standard in 1926. Haskell's glamorous and fashionable pieces contributed to the rise of costume jewellery as a valuable art form. Fans included the Duchess of Windsor and Joan Crawford, and many pieces were created for the stage and screen, including the Zeigfeld Follies and 'Phantom of the Opera'.
