Stunning vintage Yves Saint Laurent ribbon designed brooch, in gold-tone and blue glass stones from the mid 1970s.

At the age of just 21, Yves Saint Laurent became head designer at Christian Dior, before establishing his own fashion house in 1961. His most famous piece, Le Smoking tuxedo, introduced androgynous dressing as the sexiest thing a woman can do. Among YSL's muses were Chanel model Betty Catroux and actress Catherine Deneuve.
